ABOUT US
Leah is currently licensed as an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner and works independently providing primary care, Botox, dermal fillers and many other services to our community. As a practitioner, Leah strives to care for each patient like they are family. She finds great joy in making individuals feel confident and beautiful.
Prior to opening Total Anti-Aging and Wellness, Leah was a registered Nurse in a hospital setting for over 18 years.
Leah has worked in numerous departments during her time in the hospital including the fast pace and high stress Emergency Room (ER) and Cardio Vascular Intensive Care Units (CVICU). Her time in those settings have allowed her to build and refine her extensive nursing skills at numerous levels of patient care.
Before entering the medical field, Leah proudly served her country in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years.
Leah firmly believes in striving to make people’s quality of life as good as it can be for each individual client.
Total Anti-Aging and Wellness
The idea for Total Anti-Aging and Wellness was born in 2016. Garey MacDowell and Leah MacDowell had the vision to open a unique medical facility in Daytona Beach providing services to individuals in need.
Leah MacDowell, our main provider, studied for two years with AAFE and was determined to have the highest levels of training in facial aesthetics and other medical procedures. Relying on Leah’s over 25 years of medical experience, she become one of Florida’s first Autonomous Nurse Practitioners. In addition, Leah has an extensive background in cardiology and Emergency Room medical care. Additionally, Leah interned with one of the top endocrinologists and has advanced training in endocrinology.
